Obamacare Waivers
It is shocking but true: The Obama Administration has handed out more than 1,200 waivers to the president's health law. You can see a list of these waivers here.
Many of these waivers have gone to politically-connected friends of President Obama, including Fortune 500 companies and over 200 unions.
But most Americans do not have the option to get a waiver from ObamaCare, a law which is already making health insurance more expensive and forcing people to lose coverage.
I believe every American deserves an opportunity to receive a waiver from this burdensome law. You shouldn't need political connections to keep your insurance coverage.
That is why I have introduced H.R. 984, the Health Care Waiver Fairness Act. This bill would expand the Administration's own waiver process to all Americans.
Under my legislation, if ObamaCare's countless mandates are making it harder for you to find coverage or raising your health costs, you could get a waiver.
